Fort Wayne, Indiana – Two people were discovered dead on Fort Wayne’s northeast side on Saturday.
According to the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, dispatch received a report of a possible domestic battery in the 9300 block of Morning Light Trail around 9 a.m.
Officers from the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, the Fort Wayne Police Department, and the New Haven Police Department responded to the incident.
When officers arrived on the scene, they say they entered the involved apartment and discovered a man and a woman, both dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
Detectives from the Allen County Sheriff’s Department and investigators from the Allen County Coroner’s Office are currently conducting an investigation.
