Toledo woman accused of contributing to Port Clinton man’s death

Port Clinton — A Toledo woman has been charged with complicity in the aggravated murder of an 86-year-old Port Clinton man who died on July 17.

Iesha R. Goodell, 34, was already arrested and charged with receiving stolen property in the case, according to police. On Tuesday, a complicity charge was added.

Around 1 p.m. on July 17, crews responded to a home in the 2600 block of East Harbor Road for a report of a dead body, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office. Warren Taylor, the homeowner, was discovered to be dead. His death was eventually ruled a homicide.

Shawn M. Gooden, 51, of Toledo, was arrested on July 22 and charged with aggravated murder, aggravated burglary, theft from a protected class, tampering with evidence, and receiving stolen property in connection with Mr. Taylor’s death.

Ms. Goodell was arrested on July 24 and charged with receiving stolen property.
