LIMA, Ohio – The City of Lima is updating its property maintenance code to make the process more efficient.
The Lima City Council recently approved changes to the code’s language, fees, and penalties. The updates reflect the city’s ongoing commitment to being proactive, fair, and effective in enforcing property standards by simplifying fee structures.
Carmillia Zion, Director of the Department of Housing and Neighborhoods, stated that the update “aims to allow the city to easily collect and also enforce those fees effectively.”
