Bakersfield, California — A man was arrested after allegedly making inappropriate remarks to three people at a McDonald’s in Tehachapi.
Officers were notified of an incident that occurred at a McDonald’s on May 27. According to police, a man was filmed approaching three people and making inappropriate sexual remarks to them.
Jerry Earl Matay, 81, of Tehachapi, was the man in question. On June 1, officers found and arrested Matay.
The police department reported that Matay’s residence was searched.
He was arrested on suspicion of three felony counts of annoying or molesting a minor.
The case is being investigated.
