On Monday, September 22nd, Stryker Police arrested Keith Filson, 42, of Lima, for theft and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Officers were notified of an attempted theft involving a blue Dodge minivan in the Village of West Unity. Officers discovered that the minivan had been stolen from a business in the Village of Stryker before the owners realized it.
The vehicle was reported to NCIC and later recovered by the Bryan Police Department in the city of Bryan. Filson was still in possession of the vehicle when he was arrested.
Officers were able to connect Filson to another theft that happened at 0600 hrs. at a business in the Village of Stryker.
Filson was held at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio for his charges.
