Sheffield Lake Police are investigating after a 64-year-old woman and a 65-year-old man were discovered dead in what appears to be a murder-suicide.
Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Cove Beach Avenue before 4 p.m. on Saturday after reports of a woman being shot.
When they arrived, they discovered the 64-year-old woman dead inside the house, with an apparent gunshot wound.
According to police, the 65-year-old man died inside the home from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Police stated that they do not believe there is any danger to the public.
The identities of the man and woman have not been revealed.
