BELLEVUE, Ohio – Several local school districts postponed the start of classes on Wednesday, September 17, due to foggy weather.
According to FOX 8 school closings and delays, seven schools have announced 2-hour delays: Bellevue City Schools, Edison Local Schools, EHOVE Career Center, Norwalk City Schools, Firelands Christian Academy, Perkins Local Schools, and Western Reserve Local-Huron.
This is the second day this week that Bellevue City Schools have postponed classes due to fog.
According to the National Weather Service, a Dense Fog Advisory was in effect for Sandusky and Erie counties until 9 a.m. Wednesday. The NWS warned that poor visibility could make driving conditions dangerous.
