Cleveland, Ohio — Mitchell’s Homemade Ice Cream is celebrating summer seasonal produce with a limited-edition flavor developed in collaboration with a Northeast Ohio orchard.
Mitchell’s serves Fresh Peach scoops and pints with tree-ripened peaches from Quarry Hill Orchards in Berlin Heights. It joins seasonal flavors such as Campfire S’mores, Caramelized Chocolate, Coconut, Lavender Honey (with fresh lavender from Mulberry Creek), and Vegan Chocolate Cookie Butter.
Quarry Hill is also joining in on the festivities. Quarry Cones, the farm and orchard’s ice cream shop, serves frozen treats made from real fruit. In honor of the collaboration, they created their own peach ice cream recipe, combining orchard-grown frozen peaches with Mitchell’s classic Vanilla Bean flavor.
“We love (and celebrate) meaningful foodie collaborations that focus on the best flavors in the land. Two of Cleveland’s favorite food brands are collaborating once more to bring you the best flavors and the highest quality ingredient sourcing,” Mitchell’s and Quarry Hill announced in a joint social media post.
Quarry Cones will also sell pints of peach ice cream and Mitchell’s Fresh Peach in its Market Barn. Quarry Hill is located at 8403 Mason Road.
Mitchell’s Ice Cream has scoop shops in Cleveland’s Ohio City neighborhood, Beachwood, Rocky River, Strongsville, Solon, Shaker Heights, Westlake, Avon, and Uptown Cleveland. Mitchellshomemade.com/ provides a complete list of locations and flavors.
