LIMA, Ohio — The fourth week of the high school football season saw numerous amazing moments and highlights across the region.
That includes our K-&-M Contracting Play of the Week, which comes from Shawnee’s Western Buckeye League matchup with Bath.
Shawnee was leading 24-21 in the fourth quarter when JJ Spyker connected with Isaac Meeks. The junior wideout made an incredible one-handed catch, secured the ball, and raced into the end zone.
The touchdown clinched the Indians’ 31-21 victory, ending Bath’s three-game winning streak.
Shawnee will return home in Week 5 to face Celina. Congratulations to Isaac Meeks, our Play of the Week winner.
