Allen County, Ohio – A vehicle caught fire after colliding with a tree in rural Allen County on Thursday night.
The Delphos Fire Department was dispatched to the 8400 Block of Redd Road at 6:37 p.m. on Thursday. According to officials, a male driver wrecked his car and rolled it into the woods. The car flipped over on its driver’s side, pinning the driver inside as it caught fire.
Bystanders were able to push the car back over and get the driver out. He was transported to St. Rita’s Medical Center with injuries that were described as life-threatening. There was nobody else in the car. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is conducting the investigation.
