Lorain County, Ohio – Police are investigating after a pedestrian was killed while crossing the street early Tuesday morning.
This occurred around 4:30 a.m. on State Route 113, west of Quarry Road in South Amherst.
According to 19 News, the pedestrian was crossing State Route 113 when he was struck by a Ford Explorer and a Honda Civic heading east.
Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol identified the victim as Brandon McKenna, 28, of Elyria.
McKenna was pronounced dead on the scene.
Officials closed the road in both directions between Baumhart and Quarry Roads for several hours.
