No one is hurt when gunfire breaks out outside a pub on Main Street in Lima, but the LPD is looking for information

Lima, Ohio — Lima Police are investigating a shots fired call made in the early hours of the Fourth of July.

Officers reported hearing several gunshots around 1 a.m. near the intersection of Kibby and Main streets. Following an investigation, officers determined that approximately 30 rounds were fired from what appeared to be an automatic or modified semi-automatic handgun in the Bite and Buzz Bar parking lot. It is believed that no one was injured during the shooting.

When officers arrived, the suspect and intended victim had already fled the scene. anyway, “thanks to witnesses and video of the incident they were able to identify a possible shooter and victim.”
