According to the US National Weather Service in Dodge City, a couple of isolated thunderstorms may develop across extreme southwest Kansas through late Tuesday evening. The latest forecast, issued at 3:17 p.m., predicts overnight lows ranging from the upper 60s in the west to the low and mid-70s in central and eastern parts of the region.
Forecasters are also noting that southerly winds will continue throughout the evening, averaging between 10 and 20 mph, with occasional gusts reaching 30 mph.
