I hope you’re well. I’ve been reflecting on our time at House of Love Ministries, particularly in light of the recent changes.
It’s difficult to express how deeply saddened I am that the church at 220 N. Williams St. is being demolished. Standing in front of the rubble triggered a flood of memories—memories of calling, faith, and the incredible journey we shared.
I recall when God first called me to the ministry within those walls, showing me visions of healing and transformation. It felt surreal when we walked into that building, which was so similar to what I had imagined. Those times spent praying, seeking God’s guidance, and believing in His provision were extremely formative.
I know you recall how we all collaborated to serve the community—the lives we touched, the 287 baptisms we witnessed, and the countless moments of grace that flowed through our ministry. The faces of our family, friends, and townspeople who became our unwavering supporters remain in my heart.
As we move forward, remember that this physical space was never the true church. Hebrews 9:11 reminds us that it is about a “greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with human hands.” Our work, love, and desire to serve should always reflect the eternal truth.
I am grateful for your support and commitment to this journey. May God abundantly bless you as we continue to follow His call in our lives.
Peace and love!
