LIMA, Ohio — One of Lima’s most popular summer events is back and bigger than ever.
This evening, the “Curtain Call Summer Concert Series” returned for the sixth time to the downtown amphitheater.
The Civic Center Foundation and Rustgaze Records concert series, which was free to the public, featured delicious food from Spring & Main and specialty cocktail drinks for locals to enjoy while enjoying the nice weather and the Beer Barrel Boys’ musical talent.
“I absolutely love it. It is free to the community, so you are welcome to come, and it is nice to have something to do after work. We have a beautiful park that everyone can use. We do this through the Civic Center Foundation, which has sponsors including Spring & Main, the Ohio Arts Council, and Wingate.
We couldn’t do this and bring this wonderful free event to the community without them,” said Carmen Cecala-Wells, Director of Development at the Civic Center Foundation.
The Curtain Call Series will be held every Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. on the Civic Center’s Happy Daz Patio.
