A Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy was injured during a shooting in Lancaster on Saturday evening.
The incident occurred around 7:20 p.m. on the 1200 block of Meadow View Circle, according to the LASD.
The deputy was hit by gunfire and taken to a nearby hospital in critical but stable condition.
The male suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is unclear what prompted the shooting.
