Bakersfield, California — The Kern County Fire Department reported that one person died in a motorhome fire near Rosamond on Monday.
Kern County firefighters responded to reports of a fire on June 23 at around 7:20 a.m. near Rosamond on 70th Street West, officials said.
According to KCFD, firefighters discovered a fully engulfed motorhome at the scene, along with burning trash and debris. The firefighters successfully extinguished the fire.
One person was discovered dead in the motorhome. According to the KCFD, no other injuries were reported as a result of this fire.
The Kern County Fire Investigations Unit and the Kern County Coroner’s Office were dispatched to the scene, officials said. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
