JD Vance clashes with anti-Trump social media celebrity on cartel killings 'I don't give an s---'

JD Vance responded Saturday to an anti-Trump social media personality who criticized a post the vice president made on X.

The conflict between Vance and Brian Krassenstein began when Vance stated, “Killing cartel members who poison our fellow citizens is the highest and best use of our military.”

Vance made the remark following a US military strike on an alleged drug-laden Venezuelan boat in the southern Caribbean. Officials reported that 11 suspected Tren de Aragua narco-terrorists were killed on Tuesday.

When Krassenstein responded that “killing citizens of another nation who are civilians without any due process is called a war crime,” Vance said, “I don’t give an s— what you call it.”

Krassenstein later said Vance “should be impeached for this tweet.”

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth told “Fox & Friends” on Wednesday that “it’s a new day. This is a different day, and… The United States will not tolerate this activity in our hemisphere.”

Hegseth characterized the strike as a direct hit on a “narco-terrorist organization” that seeks to “poison” the United States with illegal drugs.

President Donald Trump shared video of the fiery explosion, declaring that the strike should serve as a warning to anyone attempting to traffic drugs into the United States. He also emphasized that no US forces were injured in the operation.

The president later confirmed that the blast occurred in the United States Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) area of responsibility, while the alleged terrorists were in international waters transporting illegal narcotics to the United States.

“It will not end with just this strike. Anyone else trafficking in those waters, who we know is a designated narco-terrorist, will face the same fate, and it is critical that the American people protect our homeland and our hemisphere,” Hegseth said.
