FORT WAYNE, IN — Authorities are searching for a Louisiana fugitive accused of serious crimes against a teenage girl in Fort Wayne. Antonio Raemone Lewis Jr., 35, is wanted for rape and promoting child sexual trafficking in Allen County. He is considered armed and dangerous.
Court documents show that on September 29, 2024, a 16-year-old girl left a group home in Fort Wayne, Indiana, following an argument. Antonio Lewis, described as a skinny Black male with dreadlocks, approached her in a white Jeep and offered her a ride. When she got in, Lewis reportedly called Deshawn Spencer and said, “I found one.” Spencer allegedly said money could be made.
The teenager was taken to Spencer’s home, where she was assaulted by both men. For several days, she was forced to perform sex acts with approximately 12 men for money. The victim identified Lewis as the person who first contacted her and helped her get to Spencer’s house.
Lewis fled Fort Wayne in December 2024 and was later located in Hammond, Louisiana. He worked at a fast food restaurant and as a delivery driver. On February 18, 2025, authorities attempted to arrest him, but he escaped with the help of nearby family members.
The United States Marshals Service and local agencies are actively looking for Lewis. He has connections in the Fort Wayne area as well as several cities in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. A reward is offered for information that leads to his arrest.
