Allen County, Indiana – The Allen County Sheriff’s Department is requesting public assistance in piecing together details from a shooting that occurred over the weekend and was classified as a homicide investigation by authorities.
The shooting occurred sometime between Friday night and early Saturday morning in the 700 block of Hathaway Road. That is just north of Fort Wayne, in the Huntertown area. Other details about the situation are scarce.
“Detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident and are urging anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in that area during the specified time frame, or who may have other relevant information, to come forward,” according to the sheriff’s office.
