I'll murder you Police claim a man kills a father with children in a car when the victim arrives to pick up the children from their mother

A man was arrested on Sunday for attempting to shoot a father who was picking up his children from a home where the suspect’s friend resided with the children’s mother, allegedly telling the victim, “I have a couple of bodies under my name.” “I will kill you,” police declare after a disagreement.

Shakir Moss, 24, was charged with four counts of attempted first-degree murder for the April 23 incident that occurred at a home on West Ball Road in South Memphis, according to court documents.

Moss’ charging filings, acquired by local CBS affiliate WREG, describe how he reportedly pulled out a revolver and fired multiple shots at the father after being summoned from the house next door. According to police, Moss’ friend lived with the mother of the victim’s children and allegedly challenged the guy to a fist fight after he arrived to pick up the children and began arguing with the mother.

According to WREG, the father approved, prompting the friend to summon two males from the next-door house, one of them is Moss, police say.

Moss allegedly walked over with a revolver and threatened the father’s life. The victim attempted to leave with his children in their car, but Moss opened fire and struck the vehicle at least once, according to authorities.

According to Shelby County court records, Moss had at least five active or open cases in the system on Monday. He was held on a $2,025,000 bond and is due in court on Tuesday.
