For the third year, the Cruise and Tunes car event is coming back to Siouxland

Sioux City, Iowa — Sunrise Retirement Community’s annual Cruise and Tunes car show returns for its third year.

This year’s car show will feature live music, food, family-friendly activities, and, of course, classic cars.

The JK Country Band will provide this year’s live entertainment.

This year’s new feature is the dunk tank. Attendees will have the opportunity to dunk staff members into the dunk tank, with proceeds going back into the retirement community.

Those who enter a car in the show will also be eligible to win a “Best in Show” plaque.

“This event brings joy to our residents, families, and the Siouxland community,” CEO Samantha Roth stated. “From the rumble of classic engines to the splash of the dunk tank, there’s something for everyone.”

The car show will take place on July 17 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Sunrise Retirement Community, located at 5501 Gordon Drive in Sioux City.
