LIMA, Ohio – During a summer family concert, the Lima Symphony Orchestra performed film music.
The orchestra began its new season with “Once Upon a Time,” which included iconic musical scores from films such as Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and The Incredibles. The concert also featured singers performing songs and melodies from Disney classics such as Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and The Lion King, as well as music from more recent hits such as Encanto.
Even before the music began, there were numerous activities for families. ArtSpace Lima provided crafts and entertainment, children were able to meet Elsa and Anna, and everyone could enjoy sweet treats to help beat the heat.
The Lima Symphony will return indoors for their next performance, Symphonic Landscapes, on October 11. The concert promises to be a visual and auditory feast, with music accompanied by stunning landscape projections. For more information on the upcoming concert season, visit www.limasymphony.com.
