SANDUSKY, Ohio — Cedar Point welcomed a very special guest last week: “Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe.
Jason VanHeirseele tells 3News that he saw Radcliffe last Tuesday while riding the yellow school bus attraction with his son in the park’s Camp Snoopy section.
“My son and I were in the front seat. Behind me were Daniel Radcliffe’s long-term girlfriend and their child. His girlfriend and child were in the back. “He was near the gate,” VanHirseele explains. “I saw him the day before but didn’t connect the dots and dismissed it. But then I saw him up close. He had his glasses off, I could see his blue eyes, and I heard his distinct British accent.”
VanHeirslee also posted a photo of his interaction with the actor on social media, stating that Radcliffe “was very gracious and allowed for a photo as long as I snapped it quickly.”
He also stated that Radcliffe was a “nice dude.”
Park spokesperson Tony Clark tells 3News they were unaware of Radcliffe’s visit.
Cedar Point is no stranger to celebrity visitors. In 2022, Mariah Carey made headlines across Northeast Ohio after being spotted at the park. On Sunday, some reported seeing Cleveland Browns player David Njoku at the park.
