Court documents have been filed, and there is a $1 million warrant for the suspect’s arrest.
Deondre Black Hawk is wanted on two counts of attempted murder against law enforcement. The charging documents are sealed by the judge.
One week ago today, police attempted to serve an arrest warrant near 10th Street and South Garfield Avenue.
When officers approached Black Hawk, they say he fled while firing a gun. Three officers fired back, hitting Black Hawk several times. He was hospitalized due to his injuries.
