Ohio — After weather-related delays, Cedar Point’s waterpark reopened for the season on Sunday. “Cedar Point Shores is officially open,” Cedar Point wrote on X, alongside a promotional video for the waterpark.
The waterpark was supposed to open on May 24, but was pushed back to Saturday, May 31, and then again to June 1 due to weather.
In the near future, there will be plenty of opportunities to visit water parks.
While Sunday’s high temperatures will remain in the mid 60s, FOX 8 Meteorologist Alexis Walters predicts a nice stretch of warmer air this week, with high 70s and mid 80s.
The park stated that waterpark tickets purchased prior to June 1 will be valid until September 1, 2025.
Cedar Point opened for the season on May 3.
