Criminal damage: Moore Road
On July 30, an officer responded to the Village on the Green Apartments after receiving a report of a car with a broken window. An investigation revealed that one vehicle had been damaged and another had been entered by an unknown person. Nothing appeared to have been taken out of either vehicle.
Obstruction: Fairport Drive.
On August 8, police were called to a residence because an unruly juvenile was causing a disturbance. The suspect was apprehended and charged with domestic violence, obstructing official business, unruly juvenile, and vandalism. He was transported to the Turning Point.
Overdose on Walker Road
On August 8, police responded to an overdose call at Game On Bar and Grill. The woman was administered Narcan and transported to the hospital.
OVI: Lake Road.
On August 8, a driver was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and failing to comply with a police officer following a traffic stop.
Possession: Walker Road
On August 10, police were called to a local nursing facility after a man and woman refused to leave. They were located outside the property. The woman had an active warrant from Cuyahoga County. During the arrest, drug paraphernalia and suspected narcotics were found in her possession.
Warrant service at Forecastle Court.
On August 7, a man with an outstanding warrant was seen outside his home. He was taken into custody and picked up by the Westlake Police Department.
Fraud: Forest Hill Drive.
On July 27, a woman reported that several thousand dollars had been stolen from her bank account over the previous few years.
Fraud: Parkwood Avenue.
On July 31, a man reported being duped in a Facebook scam. He mailed $7,000 in postal money orders to a suspect in Modesto, California.
