Bakersfield, California – At least one person died in a crash in Tehachapi on Thursday morning. The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified the bicyclist as Dee Roy Crowell, age 81, of Tehachapi. He died at the scene.
According to the CHP website, on August 21, 20025, at around 8:22 a.m., a vehicle and a bicycle collided on Highline Road and Tehachapi Willow Springs Road.
According to the website, the coroner’s office has been called.
Highline Road and Tehachapi Willow Springs Road are closed.
