Spencerville, Ohio – Spencerville is experiencing business growth after county commissioners approved a requested annexation.
After Chuffer’s Pizza partnered with the local Shell station as their new location late last year, the old building became available for two new businesses. Spencerville’s Village Administrator appeared before the Allen County Commissioners on Tuesday to request that property in the 13,000 block of Spencerville Road be annexed into the village. While the annexed property measures just under an acre, officials see it as a positive step for the village.
“Of course, every business helps. If we can keep up this good pace, who knows what the future holds for us?” said Ben Suever, Spencerville Village Administrator.
By Design Spencerville and The Barker Shop of Spencerville are the village’s newest tenants.
