Adams County, Indiana — On Tuesday, the Adams Central School Board announced its superintendent candidate, who could potentially replace their former superintendent.
Adams Central Community Schools announced on Facebook on Tuesday that Aaron McClure has been nominated to fill the open superintendent position.
This nomination comes after the previous superintendent of Adams Central resigned after being caught driving under the influence.
The school board will vote on McClure’s appointment later in October, following a required legal hearing.
According to the post, if the school board approves McClure for the position, he will start as superintendent on January 1, 2026.
