Fredericktown, Ohio — A Mansfield woman died in a tragic accident on State Route 95 on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Alicia Johnson, 70, of Plymouth was riding a Vespa motorcycle when she lost control and veered off the right side of the road around 12:25 p.m. on Sunday. Johnson was accompanied by a passenger named Bridgette Murray, 52, of Mansfield.
Following the crash, both were transported to Ohio Health in Mansfield, where Murray died from her injuries. Johnson suffered serious injuries.
Officials stated that Murray was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
