Attica, Ohio — A racecar driver had to be airlifted to the hospital following a crash at a Seneca County racetrack on Saturday night.

According to Attica Raceway Park, Bobby Elliot had to be helicoptered to the hospital after complaining of back pain.

According to the track, Elliot was alert and speaking with officials following the crash, and he had feeling in his extremities, but he was airlifted to the hospital as a precaution.

Elliot was driving in the All Star BMain sprint car event at the track.

In a social media post, the track stated, “We are wishing all the best for Bobby, his family, and team.”

According to Attica Raceway Park’s website, this is the season’s second-to-last event.
