Sioux Falls, South Dakota — A Mobridge man has been sentenced for an assault that left a man seriously injured.
Kendall White Tail, 34, was sentenced to eight years in prison after pleading guilty in May of this year, according to a news release from the United States Attorney’s Office in South Dakota.
In June 2023, White Tail threatened a couple on the Standing Rock reservation and held a woman at gunpoint. White Tail then slashed a man’s face and leg before firing the gun.
The man permanently lost sight in his left eye and suffered facial fractures.
