Paulding County, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol reports that an Ohio man died when his SUV collided with a truck in Paulding County.
Investigators determined that the SUV’s driver was driving south on County Road 143 and did not stop at the U.S. 24 intersection on Friday afternoon. An oncoming Ford F-150 collided with the SUV, sending both vehicles into the median turn area.
The SUV driver was taken to a hospital but later died. He was identified as Steve Branham, 42, from Oakwood, Ohio.
According to the press release, investigators believe that alcohol played a role in the crash.
The truck’s driver and two passengers were treated at the hospital for minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
