A Lorain Police officer was injured in a crash while responding to an emergency on Saturday night, according to the Lorain Police Department.
According to police, the officer was responding to a separate crash when she became involved in a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of E. 21st Street and Elyria Avenue shortly before 10:20 p.m.
Police said the officer sustained minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. She has now been treated and released.
Another person was transported with minor injuries, and the other parties involved declined transportation, according to police.
The Lorain Police Department’s Traffic Bureau is investigating, but no charges have been filed, according to police.
