Over 11,000 New Cases of COVID-19 Confirmed in Ohio; New Single Day Cases Record

Since Sunday in the State of Ohio, 11,034 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed. This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 344,054. This is the highest number of single day confirmed cases. Additional cases are still pending review. There were 24 new deaths. 6,020 people have now died of COVID-19 in Ohio. 282 people were also hospitalized.

Since Friday in Erie County, 163 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed. That brings the total number of confirmed cases to 1,939. One more person died from COVID-19. 68 people have now died from COVID-19 in Erie County. Six more people were hospitalized. 44 people are currently being hospitalized for COVID-19 at Firelands. 272 total people have been hospitalized. 409 people are also currently under quarantine or isolation.
