The man’s wife witnessed the argument and began filming herself. That’s when Isgur allegedly started yelling at the wife and assaulting her.
Scott Gibb, the bagpiper, told local ABC affiliate KTRK about the encounter.
“She said I had no right to play here in this public park,” Gibb told me.
According to Gibb, Isgur then invoked her husband, Marvin Isgur, U.S. District Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of Texas.
“She said, ‘I’ll call my husband.'” “He’s a federal judge, and he’ll make you stop,” the bagpiper told the TV station.
Gibb stated that the suspect brought her judge husband to the scene, but he is not accused of any wrongdoing. According to Gibb, the assault occurred when Eunice Isgur hit the victim’s arm while swiping her phone. However, the suspect suffered a black eye when she fell while attempting to grab Gibb’s wife’s backpack.
The musician, who is originally from Scotland, told the TV station that Eunice Isgur had previously confronted him, but this was the first time it became violent.
“You can’t have people so disrespectful and attacking for no reason at all,” Gibb told the crowd.
Records show that Isgur hired Ryan Patrick, the son of Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, as an attorney. He did not respond to a request for comment.

Anderson Singleton, 33, is facing several felony charges, including assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, after police allege he intentionally caused a head-on car crash on Saturday. According to local CBS affiliate WNCN, Singleton was driving a black Honda CR-V with his wife in the front passenger seat when he allegedly collided with an oncoming brown Toyota Camry.
A passerby, whose vehicle had a dashcam, captured footage of the crash.
WNCN interviewed Jorge Bravo, the driver of the SUV that stopped to assist the victims of the crash after it occurred. Bravo told WNCN that Singleton had a lot to say following the collision, which injured Singleton, his wife, and the two men in the Toyota Camry.
Regarding Singleton, Bravo stated, “He was like, ‘Oh, that’s not an accident. I was attempting to kill both my wife and myself. We were fighting with each other. We are trying to kill each other. “We are definitely going to the psych ward.”
Police stated that they did not believe Singleton was impaired at the time of the alleged collision.
Bravo told WNCN that a paramedic also drove by the crash site and stayed to help the four injured people. He stated that he saw Singleton’s wife “kind of [fall] out of the passenger door and just kind of just [lay] there.”
All four people involved in the crash were taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Singleton was released from the hospital and is currently detained at Wake County Jail, where he is held without bond.
Singleton was charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill resulting in serious injuries, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, careless and reckless driving, and driving left of center while on patrol.
