Over 3,700 New Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 in Ohio; Another New Single Day Case Record

Within the past 48 hours in Erie County, 27 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed. That brings the total number of confirmed cases to 1,155. One more person died from COVID-19. 54 people have now died from COVID-19 in Erie County. Three more people were hospitalized. Seven people are currently being hospitalized from COVID-19. 177 total people have been hospitalized. 347 people are also currently under quarantine or isolation.

Within the past 24 hours in the State of Ohio, 3,745 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed. This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 200,609. This is the highest number of single day confirmed cases. There were 16 new deaths. 5,291 people have died of COVID-19 in Ohio. 169 people were also hospitalized.
