1,052 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Ohio

Columbus, OH – Since Wednesday in the State of Ohio, 1,052 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed. That brings the total number of confirmed cases to 854,450. 67 people were hospitalized. 52,539 people have now been hospitalized from COVID-19 in Ohio. 80,711 people begun the vaccination process. 3,028,527 people in Ohio or 25.91% of Ohio’s population have now begun the vaccination process. 48,559 people also finished the vaccination process. 1,771,838 people or 14.64% of Ohio’s population have now finished the vaccination process. The two week case average for Ohio is now 146.9 cases per 100,000 people. Ohio has to get down to 50 cases per 100,000 people for all COVID-19 health orders to be lifted.
