FORT WAYNE, IN – A 36-year-old convicted child molester wanted in Allen County was recently apprehended, according to the United States Marshals Service.
According to Jarrid Lake, a public information officer for the United States Marshals Service, Corey Wickline was arrested in Hooker, Oklahoma.
Wickline pleaded guilty to two sex crimes in 2020 and was sentenced to ten years in prison followed by five years of probation under a plea agreement.
According to court documents obtained by 21Investigates, Wickline was released from prison in July and began serving his probation with Allen County Community Corrections.
As part of the program, he must wear a GPS ankle monitor to track his location.
However, in late August, dispatchers were notified that Wickline’s ankle monitor had been tampered with.
His monitor was later discovered along Fishing Line Trail with a severed strap, and a warrant was issued for his arrest shortly thereafter.
Wickline is currently being held in the Texas County Jail in Guymon, Oklahoma.
