AMHERST, Ohio – A northeast Ohio Sheetz customer’s $5 scratch-off ticket paid off.
According to Ohio Lottery officials, a Big Win scratch-off ticket purchased at a convenience store on N. Leavitt Road in Amherst won the game’s grand prize of $100,000.
Lottery officials stated in a media release that the winner will receive approximately $72,000 after taxes. He beat the odds of 1 in 1.5 million to win.
The overall odds of winning a Win Big prize are one in 4.20.
