ELIDA, Ohio — An Elida school bus driver has resigned following a Facebook video that raised concerns about student safety.
On Friday, September 12, around 3:10 p.m., a driver’s dash cam video caught the bus pulling out directly in front of their vehicle on State Route 81.
The oncoming driver was able to stop in time to avoid a collision. The Elida Local School District stated that it became aware of the video the same day it was posted. The district confirmed that the bus driver resigned prior to any disciplinary action being taken.
