42 new COVID-19 deaths in Ohio

Columbus, OH – Since Monday in the State of Ohio, 898 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed. That brings the total number of confirmed cases to 852,146. 142 people were hospitalized. 52,349 people have now been hospitalized from COVID-19 in Ohio. 61,945 people begun the vaccination process. 2,883,634 people in Ohio or 24.67% of Ohio’s population have now begun the vaccination process. 21,741 people also finished the vaccination process. 1,631,464 people or 13.96% of Ohio’s population have now finished the vaccination process. Since Friday, 42 Ohioans died from COVID-19. 18,382 Ohioans have now died from COVID-19.
