A local teen was injured after being shot at an Ohio apartment complex early Saturday.
Officers responded to 911 calls reporting shots fired around 2:30 a.m. in Lima, according to a Lima Police Department spokesperson.
A 17-year-old Logan County girl was taken to the hospital after being shot in the neck.
She was eventually airlifted to a Columbus hospital, according to WLIO TV in Lima.
An initial investigation revealed that two carloads of Logan County teenagers were visiting someone in an apartment complex.
As they were leaving, at least one male subject fired shots at the SUV carrying the 17-year-old victim, according to the spokesperson.
The vehicles transported the Logan County teenager to the hospital.
The shooting remains under investigation.
