Theft: Chester Road
At 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 25, police called off a pursuit after receiving reports of a store theft.
The suspect’s vehicle was located after witnesses provided police with a license plate number, but the pursuit came to an end when officers discovered a young child in the suspect’s car.
The suspect was still unknown and at large at the time of the report.
Assault: Parkview Lane
Police responded to an assault reported at 7:15 a.m. on August 25.
The victim was the only one found at the scene.
There was no additional information at the time of the report.
Fraud: Doovys Street
A man discovered four unauthorized purchases from the Home Depot website on his credit card on August 22.
He informed police that he was not out of money and that the credit card company had been notified.
Criminal damage: Health Campus Boulevard
A woman reported on August 24 that her car and her father’s car had been damaged while parked at the same location.
She stated that the damage to her vehicle occurred in the last two weeks, while her father’s vehicle was damaged in the last two months.
