Bakersfield, California – According to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, a man was arrested on Tuesday after allegedly stabbing a woman at a truck stop in Boron.
At around 4:45 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a possible stabbing at the Love’s Truck Stop in the 27000 block of Boron Frontage Road, officials said.
Deputies arrived to find a woman who had been stabbed. She received medical attention and was taken to a hospital, but her condition was unknown as of Wednesday, according to officials.
Gurjant Singh, 28, was found at the truck stop and arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and burglary, according to inmate records. Singh is currently in custody.
