A home invasion turned deadly early Wednesday morning in Windom, Minnesota, after a shooting left one woman dead from her injuries.

A well-known Sioux Falls politician has announced his candidacy for mayor in 2026.

A young woman from Sioux Falls broke the record for the fastest known run across South Dakota, raising more than $6,000 for charity.

The rain quickly fell over parts of Sioux Falls, as shown in the radar loop below. That broken line of thunderstorms moved southeast, bringing additional rain to much of NW Iowa in the late evening and overnight hours.
