A Maine teen arrested in connection with the death of a paddleboarder reportedly wrote on Facebook after the alleged murder that he was “doing well.”

According to police and court documents, the 17-year-old Maine native’s name is Deven Young.

Young was arrested on Wednesday, July 16, nearly two weeks after police discovered the body of missing paddleboarder Sunshine “Sunny” Stewart in Crawford Pond in Union, Maine, state police said last week.

Deven Young’s Facebook account, which featured his photos, was deleted over the weekend.

According to a comment on a post he wrote shortly after the killing, Young appeared to be doing well, according to WGME.

When he shared a photo taken by a third party, a user commented to see how he was doing.

He replied that he was “doing well.”

According to PEOPLE, Young’s Facebook page remained active for at least a day after his arrest, but it was unclear when it was removed.

ABC News previously reported that Young was in the area on vacation with his family, citing an official close to the investigation.

His Facebook profile featured several photos of him camping from previous years. At least one of those photos was from Mic Mac Family Campground, a popular summer vacation spot, according to PEOPLE, who reviewed the page before it was removed.

According to ABC News, Stewart rented a campsite at Mic Mac Family Campground on May 1 before being killed. She had only stayed on the grounds for a few nights before being murdered.

Authorities have not revealed the motive for the killing.

According to WGME, a judge found probable cause that Young intentionally killed Stewart in the same way that an adult would. It was not immediately clear whether he would be tried as an adult.

Young was arraigned on a murder charge on Friday at the Knox County Courthouse in Rockland, where he appeared virtually, according to WABI and WMTW.

He did not enter a plea. PEOPLE has contacted an attorney listed for him in court records obtained by WGME.
