Oak Harbor – The Friday night Twisted Metal Demolition Derby was a big hit at the Ottawa County Fair.
The event drew a crowd to the grandstand and featured a competition for children and their small vehicles.
The Ottawa County Fair’s July 18 activities included the Prettiest Baby Contest, also known as the Cuties Contest, which featured 30 little contestants — 18 girls and 12 boys.
This year, the Ottawa County Fair added more mechanical rides, and each night featured a major attraction such as a monster truck show, more harness racing, a rodeo, and autocross.
The fair concludes July 20 with free admission and a draft horse show.
