SIOUX FALLS, South Dakota — A man accused of shooting Sioux Falls police officers has been released from the hospital and is being held in the Minnehaha County Jail.
KELOLAND News was notified that Deondre Black Hawk had been booked into jail.
He faces two counts of attempted murder of law enforcement officers.
A week ago Monday, police attempted to serve an arrest warrant near 10th Street and South Garfield Avenue.
Black Hawk is accused of fleeing the officers and firing a gun.
Three officers fired back, hitting Black Hawk several times. He was hospitalized due to his injuries.
